Fibromyalgia

Dealing with Fibromyalgia is difficult at best so i'm sharing what has really made a big difference for me and things that can be easily implemented into most lifestyles. Now that I no longer classify as having Fibromyalgia Syndrome here are the basic key points of what I've had success with. These are some things you can implement quickly and easily to make a huge change hopefully you will find some of it helpful

Immediate relief

  • Hottest bath you can stand with epsom salts.
  • Massage with wiccy magic muscles massage bar. (From lush)
  • Application of cold. I use frozen peas for swollen glands and aching.
  • Yoga. Just 5 minutes is usually enough to relieve strong pain immediately. I go into a twist or bend or hold a position that stretches the area that's hurting and I hold it for a few minutes with deep breathing until I can relax into it and it releases.
  • Deep slow breathing during extreme stress or panic attacks.
Biggest relief

  • Cuddle ewe mattress topper. About 50% better sleep.
  • Bare foot healing recovery bag. Reduction of pain after sleep.
  • Yoga. Beautifully life changing huge pain relief and wellbeing boost.
  • Homyped shoes. Great for long hours on your feet at work.
  • Sketchers shape ups. Painful at first while your muscles adjust but like walking on a cloud.
  • Energy healing massage. It's like scraping the rust out of the hinges.
  • Counselling and releasing deep seated repressed emotions.
  • The practice of Kundalini yoga.
Most helpful supplements
  • Magnesium. Big help with pain. Less muscle cramping.
  • Vitamin D. Big help with pain but it was low in my bloods.
  • Fatty oils omega 3 evening primrose.
  • Co enzyme Q10. Slight energy increase but in very high doses and can be expensive.
I never had much relief using any method my Dr prescribed and found the condition more to be a cry for help from the body saying the way your living is not good. The real joy in overcoming the condition is connecting with your joy and your body and listening to what it has to say. I wish everyone were taught responsibility for their emotions and the way they treat and interact with their body as a first step rather than trial and error with expensive and dangerous pills and painful treatments. For me nothing that comes with a list of side effects or been very painful has been helpful it's all been about a journey of re connection with the soul through the body.
