Getting it done

How do you spend your time do you finish things that you need to complete or spend time dong what you want and enjoy doing? If not why? If you don't enjoy how you spend your time and don't do things that you actually want to do then what are you doing and what are you living for? Fatigue and chronic illness can destroy motivation but if you aren't getting any enjoyment your also destroying your motivation and money is not enjoyment.

My answer for you lists. I know I feel like I have a weight of a million things to do and a million things I want to do but never can think of what they are especially when my favourite tv shows come on or i've been up a few hours and feel the need for a snooze. What's sad is things don't get done I stay tired, I watch bad tv and I don't enjoy doing it. I've been through stages of motivation where I've ignored tv and done my own thing and it made me much happier.

So what i'm going to do is make a list of all the things that really need doing and all the things I want to do and buy. That way I download all these thoughts weight and worry and don't need to think about them. Also I can see what needs doing and remind myself what makes me happy and how much money I need and what I need to do to make things happen. So much benefit to wellbeing just by making the lists alone. More from actually using them. You may not have time for much or might need to rest when yo get home from work and that's fine but maybe there are things on your list that can be done while watching tv or in the bath or maybe you could watch your favourite tv in the bath, two birds with one stone. Pay internet bills or check email in commercials, learn how to knit or make something while listening to music or watching tv or exercise while doing those things if that's something you want or need. As you tick off needs you will have a sense of achievement and lightening a great reduction in pressure and stress and by checking your list daily you should make time to do something that makes you happy maybe it's read or paint or sing, maybe take up a class or new hobby. Not everything requires money, take time to reflect and appreciate nature bushwalking or gardening or have a bubble bath.

By writing down what you need it will be easier to see what you need to do to achieve them. Perhaps make smaller goals or steps to increase them or plan to put aside so much money each week for that important or wanted purchase.

Take responsibility for your wellbeing by doing things you enjoy your're increasing your motivation ad drive and crossing things off your list and your mind body and spirit will all thank you for unburdoning it. Keep a blackboard or whiteboard list or a notebook in your bag so you can carry your list with you so you don't need to remember it. Or put it in your phone. Enjoy your life in everyway you can. Don't aim to do alot, just aim to do and it will get done.
